Miesha Theresa

Miesha Theresa Tate, an American mixed martial arts expert. She is also a former mixed-martial artist. had participated in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Beginning in her elementary school years she Tacoma native was extremely athletic. As she was attending the Central Washington University, she started attending the club for mixed martial art because it was recommended by an acquaintance. When she was 20 she participated in her first professional fight against Elizabeth Posener, who specialized in Muay Thai. After that, at the women's HOOKnSHOOT Grand Prix, which was a one-night, she made her debut as a professional. Within two years, she was the FCF Women's Bantamweight Champion for the very first time. Tate's fight style was centered around wrestling as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This resulted in a great deal of praise and appreciation. It was a huge hit as she took home the 'Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion' shortly after.
